Taiyo supplies the following products which may be used in dietary supplement applications for a variety of functions:
Sunfiber® is partially hydrolysed Guar Gum (PHGG), an all-natural galactomannan water-soluble fiber that is tasteless, colorless and odorless. Sunfiber® delivers a high fiber content and excellent pH, heat and freeze/thaw stability. It is clinically proven to lower the glycaemic index, improve mineral absorption and promote intestinal regularity.
Suntheanine® is the trade name for Taiyo’s patented 100% pure L-isomeric form of L-theanine. Taiyo exclusively produces Suntheanine® via a patent protected enzymatic method that mimics the natural production of L-theanine in green tea leaves. Suntheanine® is 100% water-soluble and highly bioavailable. It has a unique sweet taste which is known as “umami” or 5th taste. Suntheanine® can be used in RTD and instant beverages, tablets sachets, effervescent, teas and many other dietary supplement and food applications.
Taiyo’s Moringa Extract S is cultivated in India. It is very rich in various nutrients including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, lipids and polyphenols. Moringa Extract S contains about 10% of Glucomoringin which is a specific glucosinolate in Moringa. Moringa seeds and leaves are rich in Glucomoringin (GMG), the seeds do not contain chlorophyll and so the extract is snow white in color. Glucomoringin is known to affect several diseases like neurodegenerative disorders or cancer.
SunAmla® is a natural pure concentrated Amla extract that is 100% water soluble powder. It is produced by mild water extraction from pure Amla fruits. It offers a powerful combination of polyphenols at a very pleasant, slightly astringent fruity taste profile. SunAmla® is the ideal ingredient to be used in all types of dietary supplements in solid or liquid form.
