At FiE 2024 in Frankfurt, Taiyo showcased concepts centered around its functional ingredients.

Taiyo’s mission remained focused on inspiring and informing customers about the diverse applications of its innovative raw materials. Alongside its trusted ingredients like Vegemeat or Sunphenon®, Taiyo unveiled new developments within functional gummies and SunActive® magnesium milk.

Taiyo’s innovative concepts

Taiyo proudly introduced SunActive® Mg. This magnesium stands out as the only type compatible with milk, dairy products, and milk alternatives. Unlike other magnesium sources, SunActive® Mg avoids common side effects such as diarrhea, does not cause protein coagulation or separation in milk, and its absorption is unaffected by milk calcium levels—making it truly unique.

Another highlight was the concept of functional gummies, which was supported by informative brochures and the prototype, which generated significant interest among attendees.

Vegemeat – 3 natural ingredients

Taiyo’s innovative minced-meat alternative, Vegemeat, is crafted from only three natural ingredients: pea protein, strawberry concentrate, and glucomannan. Its simplicity and clean-label formulation make it a standout product. During taste-testing sessions, Vegemeat was prepared as chili sin carne, allowing participants to experience its authentic flavor and satisfying texture firsthand. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, showcasing Vegemeat’s potential as a versatile plant-based alternative.
