At the Asia Awards 2022 organized by NutraIngredients, a well-known platform for functional ingredients, Taiyo´s Sunfiber® was entered in the category ingredient of the year: Prebiotics.
Sunfiber® was selected as one of the three finalists but unfortunately missed out the award very close.
Sunfiber® is Taiyo’s water-soluble bean fiber derived from the Indian guar bean. It is a Galactomannan fiber (partially hydrolyzed guar gum or PHGG), which is very low viscous and non-gelling. It is taste-free, colorless and odorless and certified as 100% natural (ISO 19657:2017). Moreover, Sunfiber® is the first dietary fiber, which is certified by Monash University as a low-FODMAP dietary fiber. Therefore Sunfiber® is the perfect ingredient for patients with IBS and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Additionally, in more than 150 studies the effect of Sunfiber® has been proven on diet-related diseases for children and adults.
Sunfiber® dietary fiber is suitable for various application forms: e.g functional food, beverages or dietary supplements as tablets, capsules and ready to use powders in jars or sachets.
