Sunfiber® R-O, Sunfiber® AG-O and Sunfiber® ST-O are Taiyo’s newest Sunfiber Product releases with organic certification. Sunfiber® is a partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG) which is all natural and 100% water soluble. Sunfiber® is a dietary fiber prepared by enzymatic fermentation from Indian Guar Beans. Sunfiber® is tasteless, colorless and odorless. Sunfiber® improves functionality of foods and beverages. Sunfiber® delivers a high dietary fiber content and excellent stability over a wide pH-range, it is highly heat and freeze and thaw stable.
The market for organic products is still growing worldwide and more and more people want products that are produced in a sustainable, natural and environmental friendly produced foods and food ingredients. Therefore, Taiyo started the organic production already years ago and also the process to get the full organic certification. Producing high quality, safe and pure food ingredients in India is not easy and needs a lot of effort and continuous work and quality control. Especially for the organic certification many changes in the process and many control steps had to be established. After a long process Sunfiber® has in 2016 now achieved 100% full Organic certification. Sunfiber® was always produced in a very sustainable and ecologically friendly way and fully traceable. 2016 Sunfiber also received an Award in India for a very social responsible production. Sunfiber® is now fully organic certified in the US and also in Europe.
Sunfiber® is also now “Verified NON-GMO”
In 2016 Sunfiber® was also verified NON-GMO. The need for this certification was led by customer demand. Although Sunfiber has always been a non-GMO product and Taiyo always provided its customers with statements to confirm this, over the past years Taiyo has seen a growing interest by its customers in having the official Non GMO Project Verification.
Tayio respects people’s right to know what is in their food and dietary supplements and therefore Taiyo decided to get Sunfiber Non-GMO Project Verified. Taiyo believes this verification offers the highest transparency about GMOs.
